Teacher: Michael Penilla
Michael has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in ceramics and glass from Cal State Fullerton. He currently divides his time between working as a ceramics instructor/technician at various Orange County studios, fabricating commissioned artwork in all manner of media and creating his own personal work as time allows. Michael loves the creative process. He regularly makes things with clay, wood, electronics, and sound.
Teacher: Evelyn Guzman
Evelyn Guzman works as a ceramic assistant at Creative Identity. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services at California State University, Fullerton. She wants to further her education in the master’s program in Social Work. In the future, she hopes to be able to develop new plans for community outreach and promote social change what people with disability are capable to do.
Teacher: Paul Castro
Paul Castro has been a program aide with Creative Identity since August 2012. He received his B.A. in English from Cal State Fullerton in 2004 and helps in ceramics. The son of a father who owns a small business in Anaheim and a mother who works as a caretaker, Paul hopes to earn his credentials in American Sign Language and pursue a career as an interpreter for the deaf community.
