We provide a variety of classes that empower our clients to grow and reach their full potential. C.I. uses a specialized “just right” education which means that we make sure each of our clients receive an education tailored to their individual needs.
Expressive Arts
The Expressive Arts class offers a creative outlet that fosters self-expression, emotional regulation and helps build their fine motor skills. Our clients experience the joy of creating something out of nothing and learn patience as they navigate through a myriad of mediums.
Ceramics
We aren’t afraid to get messy! Working hands on with clay provides a tactile and hands-on experience that promotes focus and self- control while allowing our clients to create tangible, personalized works of art. Our arts and ceramic pieces are also sold allowing our clients to feel a sense of pride and accomplishment for when they receive their commission checks.
Life Skills
Through life skills our clients are taught the essential tools for independence and personal growth. By focusing on practical skills such as cooking, budgeting, communication, speech, and emotional regulation, these classes help participants gain confidence in their everyday abilities.
Music
Through activities like singing, playing instruments, and rhythm exercises, participants develop coordination, memory, and focus. Through preparation for the summer and winter concerts the clients gain a sense of belonging and responsibility.
